Social Media as a Marvelous Work (Doctrine & Covenants 4:1–3)

Lately I’ve been thinking about how much good social media can actually do when it’s used with the right intentions. I’ve seen people share simple things such as a scripture, a quote, a testimony, or even a short experience, and it ends up reaching someone who really needed it. It’s amazing how fast one small message can spread. In that way, it really can feel like a “marvelous work,” just like it talks about in Doctrine and Covenants 4.
I’ve also noticed that people open up more online than they sometimes do in person. Maybe it gives them a little space to process their thoughts before sharing them. I’ve had a few friends reach out privately just because of something uplifting I posted. It reminded me that we honestly never know who might need a little encouragement.
As for the role I want to play, I just want to share things that feel real to me. Not preachy or forced , just honest. If something strengthens me or helps me feel closer to Heavenly Father, I don’t mind sharing it. My hope is that my posts can be a quiet reminder that He’s aware of us and involved in our lives. And if even one person feels that because of something I shared, that’s worth it to me.
