Lately I’ve been trying to slow down a little more. Life gets so busy with kids, school, work, everything, and I’ve caught myself rushing from one thing to the next without really paying attention. This week I made the effort to pause more often, even if it was just for a few minutes.

I started taking short breaks during the day to breathe, stretch, or read a few verses of scripture. It sounds simple, but it helped me feel less overwhelmed. I also tried to enjoy the smaller moments, like talking with my kids on the drive home or sitting down to dinner without distractions.

It reminded me that life doesn’t have to be nonstop to be meaningful. Sometimes the most important moments are the quiet ones we usually overlook.
