Article of Faith 13 has always been one of my favorites because it gives such clear direction for how to live in a world full of choices. “We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men…” It’s basically a checklist for the kind of person I’m trying to become. But lately, I’ve been thinking about how it applies to the things I create and consume, especially online.

There’s so much content out there that it’s easy to get pulled in by whatever is trending. But Article of Faith 13 reminds me to pause and ask, “Does this lift me? Does this help me be more Christlike? Would I feel good about sharing this?”Those questions really change what I choose to watch, post, support, or even scroll past.

As a creator, it pushes me to be intentional. If I’m making videos, writing posts, or sharing messages, I want them to feel clean, uplifting, and sincere. Not perfect, but purposeful. As a consumer, it helps me filter out things that clutter my mind or make me feel less grounded.

To me, this article of faith is a reminder that our standards don’t have to dim just because the world is loud. It’s an invitation to bring goodness into whatever we create and choose to let into our lives.
