A Small Moment That Stayed With Me

This week I had one of those little moments that didn’t seem important at the time but stuck with me. I was rushing around trying to get things done, and my daughter asked me for help with something small. Normally, I might have told her to wait a minute, but this time I actually stopped.
We sat together for just a few minutes, but for some reason it shifted my whole mood. It reminded me that not everything worthwhile requires a long stretch of time or a big plan. Sometimes the sweetest moments happen when I slow down and let myself be present.
I’m trying to recognize moments like that more often. They’re easy to miss, but they matter.
